🎭 Meet Our Mardi Gras King: Alex Mouton 👑
Born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana, Mardi Gras royalty runs deep in Alex Mouton’s roots. After relocating to Hot Springs in the 1980s, Alex became a proud graduate of Lakeside High School (Class of ’92) and never stopped building a life of service, leadership, and impact in the Spa City.
Alex is the founder and principal of M3 Services, a veteran-owned energy services company he leads alongside his brother Jean and sister Michelle. Together, they deliver HVAC optimization, lighting, and building-performance solutions nationwide—helping organizations reduce costs, improve efficiency, and lower emissions through smart, data-driven strategies.
A retired U.S. Air Force veteran, Alex brings a mission-focused mindset to everything he does. His career took him across the globe, with assignments in Florida, Okinawa, Germany, and England, plus more deployments than he cares to count. That global experience now fuels his passion for energy innovation, workforce development, and veteran employment.
That commitment extends far beyond Hot Springs. Alex serves as Co-Chair of Veterans in Energy for the Association for Energy Service Professionals (AESP), an international leadership role focused on advancing energy innovation, security, and meaningful career pathways for veterans worldwide. He is also a Project Vanguard Fellow with the Veterans in Energy Alliance and a graduate of Leadership Hot Springs.
Closer to home, Alex is an active member of the Hot Springs National Park Rotary Club, continuing a strong tradition of civic engagement and community service.
And as it turns out, parade royalty clearly runs in the family. Alex’s mother, Carla Mouton, was crowned Queen of the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade right here in Hot Springs—making this coronation a full-circle moment for a family long connected to our city’s most beloved celebrations. 🍀👑
At home, Alex’s proudest titles are husband to Jen, father to Amber, Ashley (Daniel), and Andre, and PawPaw to Scarlett and Maddox. When he’s not working or serving the community, you’ll find him enjoying family time, fishing, sightseeing across the country… or pursuing his long-standing ambition to one day build a competitive pumpkin-chunking team—because every king needs a bold vision and a trebuchet. 🎯🎃
We are honored to crown Alex Mouton as our Mardi Gras King—a leader, veteran, innovator, and community champion who embodies the spirit of service, celebration, and just the right amount of fun that Mardi Gras in the Spa is all about. 🎉💜💚💛

Mark your calendars – Mardi Gras in the Spa is February 15, 2026!
