Join the Krewe Volunteer With Us
Mardi Gras in the Spa is powered by people who are willing to give a little of their time to help create an unforgettable day for thousands of guests.
Every Shift Matters
From early morning setup through the final breakdown at the end of the night, volunteers are essential to Mardi Gras in the Spa.
Most volunteer shifts will be approximately two hours, allowing you to help make the event happen while still having time to enjoy the celebration.
Volunteer Roles
These are some of the areas we will need covered throughout the day. Your specific assignment will be based on event needs and the times you tell us you are available.
Morning Setup Crew
Help place barricades, signage and other event materials before the celebration begins.
Entrance & Exit Team
Help welcome guests, monitor access points and keep traffic flowing smoothly into and out of the event.
VIP Check-In
Welcome VIP guests, assist with check-in and help direct them into the VIP area.
Information Booth
Answer common questions, provide directions and help guests find their way around the event.
Vendor Support
Help vendors locate their assigned areas and provide general direction during setup and throughout the event.
Evening Breakdown Crew
Help remove barricades, signage and event materials after Mardi Gras in the Spa comes to an end.
Tell Us When You Can Help
You tell us the times you are available. We will then assign you to an approximately two-hour shift within that availability based on where volunteers are needed most.
We will do our best to work with everyone’s availability and preferences, but specific positions cannot be guaranteed. Making sure every part of the event is properly covered has to come first.
Within those available times, however, your exact shift and position will be assigned according to event needs. The more availability you give us, the easier it is to build a strong volunteer schedule for everyone.
We Need Help All Day
Different parts of the event require volunteers at different times. Every time period is important, including early setup and the work that happens after the celebration ends.
Early Morning Setup
Help prepare the event area, place barricades, set signage and get everything ready before guests arrive.
Event Coverage
Entrance, exit, VIP, information and vendor-support areas require coverage throughout the celebration.
Evening Breakdown
Help us finish strong by removing barricades, signs and other event materials after the celebration.
