Saturday, February 6, 2027 Mardi Gras in the Spa
Get ready for music, food, costumes, vendors, Mardi Gras royalty, family-friendly fun, a creative procession and plenty of beads as Mardi Gras in the Spa returns for its second year.
A Mardi Gras Celebration With Hot Springs Personality
Mardi Gras in the Spa brings the color, music, excitement and community spirit of Mardi Gras to the heart of downtown Hot Springs.
After an incredible inaugural celebration that welcomed approximately 4,000 people, we’re building on that foundation and preparing another day filled with entertainment, local businesses, great food, costumes and unforgettable Mardi Gras fun.
Best of all, this is a celebration with a purpose — bringing people together while helping support an important community mission.
A Full Day of Mardi Gras Fun
We’re building a celebration with something for just about everyone.
Live Entertainment
Music and entertainment will keep downtown Hot Springs moving throughout the celebration.
Food & Drinks
Enjoy festival food, local restaurants, food vendors and plenty of options throughout the district.
Costume Contests
Dress up and join the fun with costume contests for kids, teens, adults and pets.
Mardi Gras Royalty
Our Mardi Gras King and Queen return as part of the tradition and spirit of Mardi Gras in the Spa.
Vendors
Shop and explore local businesses, makers and festival vendors throughout the event.
Family-Friendly Fun
Bring the family and experience a celebration designed to be fun, festive and welcoming.
The Mardi Gras Procession
Small Floats. Big Creativity.
Instead of a traditional full-size parade, we’re planning a smaller, creative Mardi Gras procession as part of the 2027 celebration.
Local businesses, organizations, clubs, families and groups will have the opportunity to submit ideas for small Mardi Gras floats built around a golf cart, side-by-side, wagon or similar small vehicle.
Teams will be asked to submit their concept in advance. Entries will be selected based on creativity, visual appeal, Mardi Gras spirit and how well the idea fits the overall celebration.
Walking groups and other creative concepts may also be considered.
Costume Contests Return in 2027
Mardi Gras is better when everyone gets into the spirit. Start planning your costumes now and get ready to show off your creativity.
Contest times, registration details and prize information will be announced closer to the event.
Food & Vendors
Local food, businesses and vendors are an important part of the Mardi Gras in the Spa experience.
Food & Drinks
Come hungry. We’re planning a mix of food vendors, festival favorites and nearby downtown restaurants to keep everyone fueled throughout the celebration.
Become a Vendor
Interested in bringing your food, products, services or business to Mardi Gras in the Spa?
Vendor applications and requirements for the February 6 event will be announced soon.
2027 VIP Experience
We’re working on plans for the 2027 Mardi Gras in the Spa VIP experience — a place to relax, recharge and enjoy a little extra comfort during the celebration.
Details about availability, pricing and what will be included will be announced soon.
Celebrating for Something Bigger
Mardi Gras in the Spa is about having a great time, but the mission behind the celebration goes much deeper.
Proceeds from our 2027 events will help support Project HOPE Food Bank and its work fighting hunger and food insecurity throughout our community and beyond.
When you attend, sponsor, volunteer or participate, you’re helping us turn a community celebration into something that can make a meaningful difference.
